"My husband Tom introduced me to Philip Douglas after working with him at Action Learning, during Philip’s school years. Tom would come home with pictures on his phone of the amazing 3 minute sketches that Philip would have done - We were even lucky enough for Philip to sketch our beloved Cockapoo Jeffery which is framed and on our mantelpiece. That's when we decided that we would like a commission of our Jeffery which is breath taking, so detailed and depicts him wonderfully".
"I work for a global recruitment company and for my Director’s 40th Birthday I asked that Philip commissioned a picture of his Weimaraner, his pride and joy. Neither myself and Tom or my director could believe how amazing the final picture was. It looked like a photo and he was so thankful for such a personal gift”.
"We regularly pass on Philips name to friends, family and colleagues and believe he has had commissions from them also.
Philip is a very talented young man and will go far. Thank you Philip”

Philip is a young , very talented artist who is capable of producing amazing pieces of work .He takes time and care over every commission and the end product is a one off and quite unique" .

"My favourite animal is a Tiger and for a long time I have wanted a painting of a White Tiger. Members of my family had bought/commissioned work from Philip, and when my husband and I saw his work, we immediately asked him to paint us our Tiger. My response when I first saw it was "Oh my god!" I did not imagine it would be as detailed and life like as it is. This young artist is amazing and I would urge anyone to have their own private piece of work by Philip Douglas..." - Nicola and Steve Thorne
"Just before Christmas 2014 I commissioned Philip for a piece of artwork. My very basic brief was that it was for my daughter who has a love of elephants and that I wanted it to depict parent and child. From this he created the most beautiful picture of mother and baby that caused my daughter to cry Christmas morning when she opened it. It captured a moment in time as if it had truly happened and had come direct from a photograph and not your imagination. Truly stunning."
"Throughout the process we communicated only via email but your continuous updates and sharing pictures of progress showed us not only what a fantastic, talented artist he is but how, for someone so early in their career, is and will continue to be a true professional".
"It has been a real pleasure to have dealt with him but even more of an honour to own a piece of his work".
"I first started noticing Philip's work on school displays during my time working at The St. Christopher School Academy Trust, I wanted to give my friend a moving-in present she would remember, so I asked Philip to draw me her Siberian Husky as a puppy, I was really impressed with the result and my friend loved her picture straight away, the second time I enlisted Philip's help in drawing a picture of my Girlfriend’s cat, she fell in love with the picture and made her a very happy girlfriend! Philip is my go to guy if I need any artwork done, always presented at very high quality and has bundles of talent for such a young guy. Thanks for all your help Phil"

“We contacted Philip about a portrait of our friend’s horse for her 50th Birthday. Not withstanding the short time frame, he presented us with a fantastic portrait that exceeded our expectations and was loved by everyone who saw it. Our friend was given the beautiful picture said : ”Thankyou for the beautiful picture of Flint, it’s so perfect, and captures his kind soft eyes””. - - Linda Parry
